The Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG) and the Chinese Society of Petroleum Geophysicists (SPG) are organizing an international symposium on reservoir geophysics in Shenzhen, China, December 4-8, 2000. Thirty-nine papers related to reservoir management, delineation, and characterization are going to be presented at the Symposium, along with an additional 17 papers included in the proceedings (a total of 56 papers).

Shenzhen is the first special economic zone in China. It is close to both Hong Kong and Guangzhou, the capital city of Guangdong Province.
